We would just like to say how much we appreciated and enjoyed the concert in St Michael’s yesterday evening. We thought it was one of the best we had been too. The two soloists in the Mozart were really splendid, it was quite a magical performance. The Haydn came across really
well too, the tympanist and lead violin really gave it clout and grace, in their different ways.
In particular we thought that the orchestral balance was wonderful, between the brass, woodwind and strings. It really sounded splendid.
