Abergavenny Symphony Orchestra’s 2027 play day will take place on Sunday 14 February at Clarence Hall, in the beautiful town of Crickhowell.
This is Strauss’s last tone poem and is absolutely glorious. It describes a day’s climb to the peak and back down an Alpine mountain.
Conducted by Michael Bell MBE, this workshop presents a rare opportunity to explore this masterpiece. We look forward to welcoming you.
There will be 2 sessions: 10 – 1 and 2– 4.30 with a break during each session. We will finish the day with a play through. The play-through will be open to any friends and family who would like to listen.
Refreshments
We will be providing tea, coffee, squash and biscuits for the breaks, and we can also provide a buffet lunch as long as you order in advance when you book your place.
